Bursar

  • The Bursar is appointed by the Governing Body based on the Principal's recommendation.
  • The Bursar oversees internal finances and the financial audit of the college, ensuring effective utilization of funds for developmental purposes. Financial decisions are made by the Bursar and the Principal in consultation with the Governing Body.
  • The Bursar, along with the Accountant and Finance Committee headed by the Principal, manages and monitors the college's financial affairs.
  • Each year, the Accountant initially prepares the financial data, which is then verified and scrutinized by the Bursar and the Principal for clarity, authenticity, transparency, and accuracy.
  • All financial documents and bills are processed by the accounts section, the Bursar, and the Principal.
  • Currently, Dr. Kalapi Banerjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce serves as the Bursar of our college.
