Admission Process and Guidelines

  • Online Application:
    Candidates must apply through the college’s official admission portal within the dates announced by the college, usually after the publication of Class XII results.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    Admission is based on merit, considering marks obtained in Class XII (HS or equivalent), subject to University of Calcutta guidelines.
  • Course Selection:
    Applicants can choose from B.A., B.Sc. (General), and B.Com. (General) courses with subject combinations offered (e.g., Zoology, Botany, Chemistry for B.Sc.).
  • Merit List Publication:
    The college prepares and publishes subject-wise merit lists online based on the marks submitted during application.
  • E-Counselling and Seat Allotment:
    Shortlisted candidates are called for online/offline counselling, followed by seat allotment as per merit and seat availability.
  • Document Verification:
    Upon provisional admission, students must appear at the college with original documents (Mark sheets, Admit cards, Caste certificate, if applicable, etc.) for verification.
  • Fee Payment:
    Admission is confirmed after the payment of admission fees through the online payment gateway or college counter (as applicable).
  • Anti-Ragging & Undertaking Submission:
